Barney Bay

ABRACADABRA! With a huge repertoire of crazy jokes, magic feats and circus skills, Barney Bay is the perfect entertainer for all children, whatever the age. Younger children love Barney's colourful tricks and slapstick comedy, while older children are also amazed by Barney's 5-ball jugging, and other zany circus antics - and can even assist to become part of the circus extravaganza.

For Children's Parties, Barney Bay offers three standard packages (as well as a bespoke service):

COMEDY CIRCUS SKILLS AND MAGIC SHOW (45 mins): Barney's colourful and visual show includes magic, balloon twisting, juggling, plate-spinning, yoyo, diabolo, unicycling, with plenty of comedy and participation. Children are reduced to hysterics as Barney muddles hs way through the party tricks, but don't worry kids - he usually gets it right in the end!

TWO-HOUR PARTY (ages 5+): the children arrive to a plate-spinning or ribbon-twirling workshop to music, and then sit down to enjoy Barney's amazing show (as above). And then after tea (the only part you have to worry about) you can relax as Barney organises running-around games to music and a limbo-dancing competition.

CIRCUS WORKSHOP PARTY (ages 7+): up to thirty children at once can try their hand at various skills including plate-spinning, feather-balancing, diabolo, and juggling. Barney usually rounds off the hour-long session with a short show.

Bournemouth-based Barney Bay has performed for playgroups, schools, Holiday Parks and Children's Birthday Parties across the South since barely out of childhood himself, and is now firmly established as a children's favourite throughout Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Hampshire and beyond.
